I guess I should apologize not only you, but to myself for slacking on this account. Due to a much needed relaxing vacation with my lovely partner in crime at the beginning of the month, and a generally busy work schedule, I’ve had a tough time hashing out sections of my life to post here. I was married to this website during the school year, so maybe a break was good for the both of us. Both retooled and refueled for the long run.

Also, a quick unrelated note, I got the chance to finally see Hamilton at the Orpheum last weekend. Even if you don’t enjoy theater all that much, it’s worth every penny. Holy cow. But I digress…

This summer’s NBA free agency sent me on a cavalcade of emotions, and I’m going to jot down all my thoughts on them in the coming days, especially since it appears that the dust has mostly settled.

I’ll discuss the Lakers’ plan B after losing the Kawhi sweepstakes, KD’s move out east, and all the big news you probably already have everyone’s two cents on. (This is what I get for taking time off I guess.)

In the world of baseball, we’ve reached the halfway point in the season, and the Giants find themselves at a bit of a crossroads with how to handle the rest of the season; do they give away the store? Hold on to see if they can keep rolling through July for a late push?
